What am I looking at?

Worker ID is the device ID this browser keeps in local storage for this site. Tab ID names one open worker tab. There is one row per tab.
Status / TTL: TTL is the pool liveness timer (workers:lease:<tab>), renewed by the tab's heartbeat. It is not a task lease. No timer (-2) means stale.
Memory (heap): used / total JavaScript heap from performance.memory. Only Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge) report it; the others show n/a.
IP and Last Seen come from the pool gateway (connection address, server clock), not from the worker.
Cluster: the cluster the dispatcher uses for this tab. A tag set here with Set cluster wins over the cluster the tab reported (?cluster= in its URL); submit an empty value to remove the tag. A lane in affinity mode with strict on gives work only to tabs in its target cluster. Without strict, tabs outside the cluster get at most one task per lease while a target-cluster tab is online. IsPrime does not support affinity.
Ban adds the tab ID to the ban list. The server refuses the tab's next registration; a tab that is already connected keeps its connection until it reconnects. A banned row shows a yellow Banned label and a green Unban button.
Purge starts a 600-second countdown on the server, so it survives a page reload. The red button shows the time left; click it to cancel. At zero the server deletes the tab's pool membership, info, liveness timer, task assignment and cluster tag. Purge sends nothing to the tab, so an open tab can register again later. Use Ban to keep it out.
Safe / Soft / Deep refresh send a reload command to every connected worker tab. Safe skips tabs whose page text shows they are busy (a text check, not a guarantee). Soft reloads at once. Deep reloads with a cache-busting URL. None of them waits for tasks to finish.
Row buttons appear only when the pool write switch is on (ADMIN_WRITE=1) and need a director or admin login.
Client: reports the Matrix client build of this tab (h6). It identifies which client script version is running in the worker tab.
Persistence panel: the read-only panel above displays shared coordinator and persistence health (Redis/storage backend, active keys, liveness leases, and snapshot state). Mutations are disallowed from the pool view.
Worker ID vs Worker Tab ID: Worker ID is the persistent device/browser profile ID stored in localStorage across browser sessions. Worker Tab ID is the ephemeral identifier unique to an individual open browser tab. Multiple tabs on the same device share the same Worker ID but have distinct Tab IDs.
Lane vs Family: Family identifies the worker tab implementation and runtime role (generic for Prime/SSPrime, matrix for Matrix worker tabs). Lane is the active distributed computation pipeline (isprime, ssprime, matrix).
Glossary:
- Lane: An independent computational workload track (isprime, ssprime, matrix).
- Device ID vs Tab ID: Device ID persists across reloads in localStorage; Tab ID is unique to a single browser tab session.
- Liveness TTL vs Task Lease: Liveness TTL is the pool heartbeat expiration; a task lease is the temporary assignment of work to be computed.
- Batch: Group of work items or segments leased to a worker at one time.
- Stage: Staging a configuration change in memory for the next run without altering the running job.
- Restore: Rebuilding or resuming active run state from persistent snapshots after a restart.
- Purge: Server-side deletion of a worker tab's lease, task assignment, and cluster tag after a 600s countdown.
- Affinity / Strict: Task routing policy favoring matching worker clusters (affinity) or requiring them exclusively (strict).
- Checkpoint Mode: Storage persistence strategy (compact-adaptive, compact-immediate, full-legacy).
